Mega Makers Holiday Club
Are you ready for this years Holiday Club ?
It’s called Mega Makers and it takes place August 11th to 15th from 10am to 12 noon, with an opening service on Sunday 10th at 10:30am. It’s for children at infants or primary school (5 to 11 year olds).
The focal point of this club is exploring the world of inventions through the Mega Machine which has been invented by Professor Ian Ventor and his apprentice May Kamess. This machine has the ability to enlarge anything that is placed inside it, and after the final testing at the club will be released onto an unsuspecting world.
The Mega Machine demonstrates the concept of things getting bigger and bigger which parallels the theme of Mega Makers! that the more we discover about God, the vaster his love for us may seem.
Everyone who’s been before will get an invitation as will children who attend Cool Club or GLuG. If you know of other children who’d like to come, get invitation forms from St Catherine’s & Cornwell Churches or email us.

The service starts at 10:30am.

Bring Your Dad to Church Day
We'd love you and your Dad to come along to our special "Bring your Dad to Church Day" on Sunday 15th June from 10.30am at the Cornwell Centre
Like last year, it'll be a time for the whole family to be together : playing games, competing, eating bacon baps for brunch - and learning a bit about believing.
Unlike many other Fathers' Day activities, there’s no need to book a table & it’s free !
Also : Whose dad is the best baker ? (ask about the set competition recipe)
What's not to enjoy?? Come along and join in !

Christian Aid Week Totals
The money is still coming in, but after Sunday's counting party, the current figure for what we collected from the good householders in the Cornwell Area is £632. The Parish wide total currently stands at £2,407.
These figures are subject to audit, and there might be more to come in.
This a great result is our contribution towards Christian Aid's vision of ending poverty.
