Seaside Rock Holiday Club

This year's Summer Holiday Club is "Seaside Rock".  It takes place at St Catherine's Church during the week Sunday 7th - Friday 12th August.
It is set at the seaside where we hope to enjoy all the excitement of the beach with five fun-filled days of games, craft, music, drama, fun and laughter. We’ll also hear through Gospel stories, how Peter (the Seaside Rock) took up the challenge to follow Jesus.
Registration is now open. See the magazine, our web site, or contact us here for more details.

Annual Parochial Church Meeting - 24th April.

The parish Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is Sunday 24th April at 3.00 pm in St Catherine’s Hall.  As the name suggests, this is the meeting for the whole parish.

The minutes of last year’s meeting are contained in the big ‘Annual Report and Financial Statements’ booklet.  Please make sure that before coming to the APCM you have a copy and have read it together with the Green "2015 - a review" booklet that was included with this month’s RG31 magazine.

Spare copies of both these are available at both churches.

Cornwell service & Annual meeting this Sunday 10th April

Dear all,

It’s in the magazine but I just wanted to flag up that this Sunday it’s our ‘AGM’. If you’ve been to one before you’ll know that whilst there is a very small amount of ‘business’ that has to be done and in the context of a service, it’ll be very informal; chatting around tables to find out how we can better fulfil our mission as God’s people. Each year we review church life and get ideas for the future with input from everyone, so discussions will include children.

This year there’ll be 5 topics: Inviting others to church, Creative Worship, Churches Working Together, Children & Youth, Supporting others doing God’s work elsewhere. For each topic we’ll be considering “What would I like to see?” and “What could I do?”

We do hope you can come.

Tony (on behalf of the Cornwell Leadership Team)

AND

We’re still open to donations for our new projector but need to know how much we can spend, so if you haven’t given and would like to, please do so on Sunday or contact me. Thank you!
