Holiday Club 2012 : On Your Marks

A small glimpse into what we got up to at St Catherine's Holiday Club 2012. This year's club has a sports theme as we had teams joining in the "Global Games". Click here to watch the "On Your Mark" video.

‘On Your Marks’ Holiday club service

May I remind you that there will be no service at Cornwell on Sunday 12th – we are having a joint ‘On Your Marks’ Holiday club service starting at 10.30 at St Catherine's.

Hope you can make the service.

Cafe Church

This Sunday, 8th at 11.00: Cafe Church with Rev.Denis Smith - Theme: God's Family

'Cafe-style' means different things to different people - there is no blueprint - so please come along and help to shape it into a uniquely Cornwell style of 'being church'!

The Coffee, Cake and Conversation are available, as usual, from 10.30 - any help in setting up will be much appreciated. Weather permitting, we'll try and extend our hospitality to anyone in the playground, too.

Cornwell Walk and Picnic Tea - Sunday 1st July

We'd love you to join us for walk and picnic tea at Dinton Pastures Country Park, Hurst.  For directions there, see http://dintonpastures.co.uk/directions . We'll meet there at 3 pm.  This will be a family-friendly opportunity to spend time with our church family. We'll walk around the lake and share a picnic together afterwards. Contact Richard Yates if you need a lift.

Joint Pentecost Service - Sunday 27th May

Please note that there won’t be a service at Cornwell on Sunday 27th May (Pentecost), there’ll be a joint service, 10.30am at St Catherine’s followed by a bring & share picnic lunch.  Do please come.

Parish Annual Meeting and Tea

Hope you can make it to this important meeting at St Catherine’s at 3pm on Sunday, followed by a 'bring-and-share' tea.

It's not just a 'business meeting', but an opportunity to celebrate and reflect together on how Jesus' love has made a difference as we've reached out, served and cared in our community over the last year - and to look ahead with Him at how we might be even more effective in the year ahead.

Please join with us and stay for tea afterwards. It would be good if you could bring some food to share, whatever it may be - sweet or savoury, home-made or bought - and we'll enjoy seeing how God fits all the pieces of the culinary jigsaw together! We may be pleasantly surprised.

Do let Richard know if you have any questions...or just want to confirm that you are/are not coming.
